I have always been fascinated with silhouettes, I think it is the defined contrast that intrigues me. I have not used them much in my designs, and have wanted to use these particular fashion models for some time. The idea of these overlays came to mind while looking at some retro designs. I think they work well, and my team has put together some beautiful examples of how you might use them.
Beth designed this fashion shoot using both the Fashion Overlays and ShutterBug kits. I love how she stacked the elements, using the albums, lace and old reels and cameras, giving a sense of the times. So beautiful!
Pat created this elegant page combining the overlays with A Scrap of Simplicity. I love the simple elegance of this page!
Trish used a variety of elements including a character from the Chantilly Characters kit, and elements from Needles and Pins to create this fabulous photo scene! I love the details she added with the umbrella and beads...fantastic page!
This elegant scene looks like it is straight out of the movies! Gina used elements from Chantilly Place, creating a parlor for the lovely lady. Her shadowing is outstanding and sense of perspective ideal. I love the feel of this page!
I adore this page by Hayley, with the elegant model and the ladies from Chantilly looking on, possibly with envy? Possibly wondering where to buy that modern dress? Fun page!
Something dramatic from Trish...Instantly taking me back in time, this stunning page reminds me of the old photography shops. Love the contrast with it's high impact!
Pat used Purple Rhapsody to make this gorgeous page...so divine! I can see this elegant lady walking into the ballroom, the music playing, all eyes on her...
Anne's Timeless Elegance is both fun and reminiscent of a carefree time in history. Gorgeous layering, and love how she used Aging Beautifully as her elements!
This creative little piece was designed by Cheryl. So unique in reversing the silhouette! I love the playfulness ... who does not like to shop?? Love the hatboxes!
